For the first time since the start of our podcast, we took a week off last week. We allowed ourselves the holiday break so that we could enjoy time with our families...and all the holiday Premier League football.
It did not mean, however, that we were silent among ourselves on some of the top storylines during that period. In fact, a lot of chatter took place between the three hosts about Swansea's sacking of Bob Bradley in particular.
On our show, we regularly refer to our Slack banter between episodes. As a preview of the built-up emotion that you will hear on this week's podcast, we pull back the curtain and show you the conversation between two of our hosts about Bradley's dismissal.
To protect the innocent (and just for fun), we have taken out the hosts' names. Instead, they are referred to as "Pod" and "Cast." Enjoy this sneak peek, and don't forget to listen to our next podcast episode on Friday!

POD: I love it - in an ironic way - that Walter Mazzarri is now under fire.
CAST: Of course he is! Watford thinks they are United.
And how could Hull sack Phelan? He signed up for the impossible with a team with 13 senior players and no summer signings. And then they don't even give him a transfer window? WTF!
My hate for Hull owners might rival Pod’s Watford hate.
POD: Don't forget about Swansea.
CAST: Yeah, but...maybe Bradley shouldn't have been hired in the first place.
POD: That is not a fair statement because it cannot be either proven or disproven. The fact is that he was good enough to be hired and then fired before he could do anything to help his team.
CAST: True.
POD: Remember when the best defender they signed in the summer was Alfie effing Mawson and his porn stache? And that was Bradley's fault?
CAST: Yes, Bradley was dealt a bad hand, but his players seemed to give up on him and not play for him, right?
POD: Reports were that they liked him. No manager in the history of all sports would ever feel like they can win with someone else's players. So it doesn't really matter how they felt. Every defender should have had the chance to feel the pressure of competing against a Bradley-signed defender.
CAST: Winning at Swansea is a bit zealous anyway, correct?
POD: No way. They were a 7th place team with a trophy win a few years ago. Then their top players were lured away and all they did was sign Alfie effing Mawson.
CAST: Maybe he got fired because he didn't play Alfie enough?
POD: If you say that on the pod, I will verbally come after you. The only place Mawson belongs is on my all-Boogie Nights fantasy team.

Postscript: Pod would like to say that the irony of Mawson’s goal this past Tuesday is not lost on him. He chalks it up to bad timing and has not changed his mind at all in spite of it.
