Your Guide to Watching Championship Sunday 2018

It's here! The final gameweek of the season brings 10 matches starting all at once -- 10am EST on Sunday, May 13. If you plan to take in the season's final matches, here is your guide on how:

9:00am - Your fantasy lineup will be locked, and the real lineups will be released. This is when you should go to Fantasy Soccer FC on Twitter to start seeing our reaction to the surprises that will no doubt appear in the lineups.

9:55am - Tune in to Southampton-Manchester City (SOUMCI). It will be the final time these champions receive a guard of honor as a reward of their title. The Saints should start this match with some motivation. Relegation is technically not yet avoided. Tune in for a few minutes to see how this one begins. Plus, you probably have a Citizen or two on your fantasy team (along with one surprise that Pep left on the bench), so you should see how they do.

10:05am - It's time to check out Liverpool-Brighton (LIVBHA). Right about now, you'll be able to tell if you should have transferred Salah out or not. Regardless, some Red is bound to score. You won't want to miss it.

10:15am - Switch over to Newcastle-Chelsea (NEWCHE). Depending on how Liverpool is doing, Chelsea may still be in the running for a Champions League berth. Do they care? Watching now will tell you. Plus, remember two years ago when already-relegated Newcastle under Rafa Benitez dominated their final match? Maybe they do that again.

10:28am - It's time for Tottenham-Leicester. If Harry Kane hasn't scored one for his Golden Boot chances (and your faith in him as your FPL captain) yet, it may turn out not to be his year. If Jamie Vardy scores instead, this one could get fun.

10:40am - Finish the first half with Manchester United-Watford -- you know, because United. This match could be dreadful, but a few token minutes won't hurt.

10:50am - Barring some seriously unfortunate event, all matches should be done with first half stoppage time. Time to empty your bladder and refill your drink(s). Catch up on Fantasy Soccer FC's Twitter feed. You'll have missed about 23 tweets by now.

11:00am - The second half will begin across the league. You need to check in on Swansea-Stoke (SWASTK). Technically, Swansea have a mathematical chance to remain in the Premier League. With a goal difference of 9 to make up on Southampton (SOUMCI), the start of the second half will determine if Swansea plan to go for it.

11:15am - You want to tell your friends and co-workers on Monday morning that you tuned in to all 10 matches, right? This is where you make that possible. For the next few minutes, surf around between Burnley-Bournemouth (BURBOU), Crystal Palace-West Brom (CRYWBA), and West Ham-Everton (WHUEVE). If you're lucky, you'll see Bournemouth begin their comeback from down 2-0, Luka score a penalty (that Benteke assists), and Joe Hart get into a fistfight with Jordan Pickford over who should be England's third-string keeper for the World Cup.

11:25am - It's time to say good-bye to Arsene Wenger. This will be the last time -- probably? maybe? -- that we see him manage a Premier League club. With Huddersfield now safe and Arsenal not playing for anything, just plan to watch Arsene on the touchline for a few minutes.

11:30am - With roughly 15 minutes remaining, it's time to check a few boxes. Are Liverpool giving Chelsea hope for fourth place? Are Swansea actually making a run at Southampton despite that massive goal difference? Are City on the verge of breaking yet another Premier League record? If so, go there.

11:42am - The questions above will probably be answered. If not, ignore this item and stay where you are. Otherwise, let your heart lead you. Have a favorite club? You should probably watch their end. Is your mini-league looking like it's facing a dramatic finish. Then, by all means, check that out.

11:50am - Say good-bye to the football. Say hello one more time to our Twitter feed. Catch up on the 34 tweets. Start planning for next year.

No matter what happens, we hope you'll stay with our podcast throughout the summer. For us, there is no offseason. Hope you've had a great year!
